16th International Symposium
on Genital Autonomy, Circumcision, and Children’s Rights – “Intact 2020”


Who: This symposium is sponsored by the Law Office of David J. Llewellyn, and co-sponsored by Genital Autonomy America, Intact America, and Attorneys of the Rights of the Child.

What: The 16th International Symposium on Genital Autonomy, Circumcision, and Children’s Rights – “Intact 2020”.

Where: The Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, 800 Spring St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

When: Saturday and Sunday, August 29-30, 2020. Registration is Friday, 7–9 pm and Saturday, 7–9 am, and Sunday 7–9 am.

How Much: The fee is $150 per day and includes a continental breakfast and a bountiful buffet luncheon each day, and day-time parking. Lodging and travel are not included.

How to Register: All speakers and attendees must register and pay in advance using this shopping cart system courtesy of Intact America. All funds are transferred directly into the Llewellyn Law Firm’s bank account and are not handled by Intact America. Ticket fees will be refunded if the event is cancelled. Registration deadline is August 15, 2020. 

How to Apply: Prospective presenters can submit an abstract of 200 words or less for consideration, due June 1, 2020. Send to [email protected]. Presentations are limited to 20 minutes. Audio-visual equipment will be available.

Schedule (subject to change): 

Friday, 7–9 pm registration and welcome reception in the Club Room (cash bar).
Saturday, 7–9 am registration and continental breakfast.
Saturday, 9 am – 5 pm, primarily academic oriented presentations.
Saturday, 7–9 pm, screening of “The Circumcision Movie” and “American Circumcision”.
Sunday, 7–9 am, registration and continental breakfast.
Sunday, 9 am – 5 pm, primarily intactivist oriented presentations.

Travel: If you are flying into Hartsfield-Jackson Int’l airport, the MARTA is a safe and economical transportation option ($2.50 per trip) from there to the hotel using the Red or Gold lines. The Midtown MARTA station is 5 blocks from the hotel. Georgia Tech operates a free “Tech Trolley” bus between the station and campus, going past the hotel.

Lodging: Hotel accommodations must be made by each attendee directly with the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center.

Note: Attendees may gather in the evenings at a local restaurant, details to follow.
